Here are just a few examples of the projects we have had the privilege of working on over the years.

High Street, Coedpoeth

DW Transportation was appointed as the highways and transport consultant to provide the information required to support the planning application for a change of use of the former Ecclestons Bakery in Coedpoeth from B1 (bakery) to A1 (convenience food store). Since 2011 (prior to our involvement), the proposal had been the subject of two refused planning applications, two withdrawn planning applications and a withdrawn appeal with highways being the main reasons for refusal.

Land at Highlands Inn, Uckfield

DW Transportation was appointed as the highways and transport consultant to provide the information required to support the planning application for a convenience food store to be developed on part of the land occupied by the Highlands Inn Public House in Uckfield. The client identified a development opportunity, as part of the existing extensive pub car park was surplus to requirements. The site is located within the protection zone of the Ashdown Forest, which was a key consideration when preparing the supporting highways information. Planning permission was granted in 2022.

Garnteg Primary School, Pontypool

DW Transportation was appointed as highways and transport consultant to work alongside WSP | Parsons Brinkerhoff to produce a Transport Statement and provide mitigation design to alleviate the traffic that could be generated by an extension to Garnteg Primary School in Pontypool.
